I did some tests yesterday. Ran some Win7 based PE directly from an internal HDD.
The result was rather shocking.
The fastest (Chris Win7PE_SE) took 1:34 min. the slowest 2:56 min.
In comparison, a perfectly tuned NaughtyPE loads from CD in 1:24 min.
I had a look around, but hadn't any luck finding tuning tips for Win7 based PE.
